Four new players became Kangaroos during the 2024 Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period, after North Melbourne completed deals to bring Luke Parker, Jack Darling, Caleb Daniel and Jacob Konstanty to Arden St.

What he brings to the Roos
Parker has "has one of the best football resumes of those still in the game," head of football talent Brady Rawlings said on trade deadline night.
The former Swan spent 14 years in the Harbour City after being drafted with pick 40 in the 2010 National Draft, making a name for himself as a competitive midfielder with leadership credentials.
Built tough, Parker registered 293 games as a Swan including 26 finals. He consistently displayed his fearless attack on the contest and opponent, a trait that is set to complement the likes of George Wardlaw and Luke Davies-Uniacke at Parker's new home.

What he brings to the Roos
The 2016 premiership player will add plenty of poise to North Melbourne's growing backline, with his astute decision-making also key to his game.
The 28-year-old clocked 192 appearances for the Bulldogs and worked his way into the leadership group during his time at the Kennel, making him another valued acquisition for a club that has hunted experience this off-season.
Describing Daniel as "an elite kick", Rawlings added: "He is also an experienced leader and knows what success looks like having played in a premiership, so will be able to offer plenty of support and insight to our young list both on and off the field."

What he brings to the Roos
The former Eagle arrives at Arden Street on the back of a stellar 14-season career in Perth, where he played 298 games, kicking 532 goals and earning a 2018 premiership medallion.
The key forward is expected to form a partnership with North Melbourne vice-captain Nick Larkey, who has attracted no shortage of defensive attention over the past few years since becoming the main target inside attacking 50.
Darling's strength, ability to create a contest and defensive work rate, combined with his experience, is expected to benefit the development the club's emerging list.

What he brings to the Roos
Still only 19, Konstanty has the potential to add an aggressive edge to the Kangaroos' forward line. A small forward known for his defensive pressure, he was unable to make an AFL debut in his two seasons at the Swans, with injury ruling him out for much of his first year.
“Jacob’s career is only just beginning," Rawlings said. "His playing style and ability to apply pressure in the forward line has really stood out to us. We see potential in his football ability and look forward to him getting to work.”
