Defender Lucy Burke will make her club debut for the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos in Sunday's SuperClash against Geelong at Arden St Oval.
Experienced midfielder Jenna Bruton will also return to action nine months after rupturing her Achilles tendon in December's AFLW Grand Final.
Burke and Bruton are the Kangaroos' two inclusions for what will be their first home game of the 2024 AFLW season.
Irish speedster Erika O'Shea comes out of the team with a leg injury, along with forward Alice O'Loughlin, who has accepted a one-match suspension for a rough tackle in last Sunday's season-opening win over Brisbane.
Burke, 26, joined the Kangaroos ahead of the 2023 season after a two-season stint with St Kilda.
She was unable to break into a strong Roos' defence last year, but has impressed with her high workrate in pre-season.
Bruton, 28, heartbreakingly tore her Achilles in the opening minutes of the Grand Final. She returned to full training in the build-up to Week 1, but missed the club's pre-season practice games.
The Roos will be out to continue the strong form they showed against the Lions as they return to their Arden St home.
Help us celebrate the SuperClash for a great cause
Supporters are encouraged to get to the ground early for the North Melbourne street festival, which kicks off from 1.35pm, 90 minutes before Sunday's opening bounce.
Donation tins will be available at the game for the Royal Children's Hospital's 2025 Good Friday Appeal.
The two teams will come together before the game for a reverse guard of honour with patients and staff members from the Hospital.
