North Melbourne has a League-high five young guns in the AFL Players' Association's 22Under22 squad.

Tom Powell, Paul Curtis, Harry Sheezel, George Wardlaw and Colby McKercher have all been named in the 40-player line-up.

It is the first time Powell, Curtis, Powell, Wardlaw and draftee McKercher have been named in the squad, while 2023 AFL Rising Star winner Sheezel made the final team last year.

Now it is up to fans to make sure they are all included in the final 22 before voting closes at midnight on August 14.

The final team will be announced on August 21.
