North Melbourne has made one change to its side ahead of its clash with Gold Coast at Marvel Stadium on Saturday.

The Roos will welcome back young gun Colby McKercher, who hasn't appeared in the AFL since suffering bone stress in his foot and earning a Rising Star nomination against the Suns in Round 9.

The dashing defender has had two strong performances at VFL level over the past fortnight, racking up 31 disposals in three quarters against Casey before booting two goals from 26 touches against Footscray.

He replaces fellow backman Zac Fisher who will miss with a foot injury he sustained in last week's match against the Western Bulldogs.

Curtis Taylor, Bailey Scott, Liam Shiels, Will Phillips and Kallan Dawson have been named on the interchange with one of the five to be locked in as the tactical substitute an hour before Saturday's opening bounce.

Riley Hardeman, Charlie Lazzaro and Robert Hansen jnr are the three emergencies.

General admission tickets are still available for the Marvel Stadium clash, which kids aged 14 and under can access for free as the AFL continues its Kids Go Free month.

In recognition of NAIDOC Week (July 7-14), the Roos will wear their 2024 Indigenous guernsey 'Kangaroo Way', which was designed by Wemba Wemba, Gunditjmara, Ngadjonji and Taungurung artist Emma Bamblett.
