Cam Zurhaar is one of three Kangaroos that have been added the squad ahead of the club's clash with Hawthorn on Sunday at Marvel Stadium.
The forward missed North Melbourne's trip down the highway to Geelong last week due to calf tightness, but has since managed to overcome the complaint.
Inside midfielder Will Phillips and defender Jackson Archer have been also been included after the pair impressed in the VFL side's recent win over Brisbane.
Archer's ruthlessness at the contest was on show at Arden Street, while Phillips laid a game-high 13 tackles to help secure the four points.
Phillips and Archer are on the extended interchange bench along with Hugh Greenwood, George Wardlaw, Tyler Sellers, Colby McKercher, Blake Drury, Charlie Lazzaro, which will be reduced to five when the Roos announce their team at 5pm AEST on Friday.
One interchange player will be named substitute when the final line-up is confirmed an hour before the 4.05pm bounce.
Vice-captain Nick Larkey will play his 100th AFL game on Sunday, becoming the second Roo to achieve the feat this season (Cam Zurhaar, Round 1).
