North Melbourne forward Sam Lowson has been rewarded by the coaches for his match-winning performance against Brisbane.

Lowson was the highest-rated player on the ground in Sunday's thrilling one-point win over the Lions, polling nine coaches’ votes after booting four goals from his 12 disposals.

Midfielder Jack Watkins was the only other Roo to receive votes, earning three each from North Melbourne coach Tom Lynch and Brisbane coach Ben Hudson.

Watkins was crucial in helping the Roos remain undefeated, racking up seven tackles and a team-high 25 disposals against a strong Brisbane midfield, as well as notching the assist that resulted in Lowson's winner.

Onballers Jarryd Lyons and Deven Robertson polled six and five votes respectively for the visitors, while Henry Smith (four), James Tunstill (two), and Darcy Fort (one) also earned recognition.
