Tyler Sellers will make his AFL debut on Sunday, as North Melbourne head down the highway to take on Geelong.
Sellers, who becomes Shinboner No.1062, was signed on the eve of the 2024 season through the Pre-Season Supplementary Selection Period.
The 21-year-old emerged playing as a key forward for club’s VFL team in 2023, kicking 30 goals from 16 games.
He continued to impress with his craft and overall attitude while training with the AFL team over summer, and caught selectors' eyes with a six-goal haul in the reserves' opening round win over the Northern Bullants.
He learned he would play his first senior game this weekend at training on Friday morning.
Sellers is the Roos’ fourth AFL debutant this season, joining prized draftees Colby McKercher and Zane Duursma and Toby Pink.
The Roos’ full Round 5 team will be announced on Friday afternoon at 5pm.
