North Melbourne will make at least two changes for Sunday's Round 5 trip to Geelong, with two senior players missing from Thursday night's extended squad.
Forward Cam Zurhaar comes out after experiencing calf tightness this week, while Jaidyn Stephenson has been omitted from the team that lost to Brisbane in Round 4.
Exciting forward Tyler Sellers has been named on the extended bench for the visit to the Cattery.
The potential debutant joined the Kangaroos as a supplementary signing in February and caught selectors' eyes with a six-goal haul in the reserves' opening round win over the Northern Bullants.
Joining Sellers on the bench is fourth-year midfielder Will Phillips, who has been solid at VFL level and also earned coaches' votes against the Bullants.
Blake Drury, Jackson Archer and Robert Hansen jnr are the other Roos named on the extended interchange who are yet to play a senior game in 2024.
The bench will be reduced to five when the Roos announce their team at 5pm AEST on Friday, with one interchange player to be named substitute when the final line-up is confirmed an hour before Sunday's opening bounce.
Tom Powell is in line to play his 50th AFL game, having been named on the half-forward line in the extended squad.
Meanwhile Charlie Comben keeps his spot in North Melbourne's backline after impressing in his long-awaited AFL return against Brisbane.
