It was a welcome return to training for Jess Duffin, as the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos hit the track on Tuesday night.
Just three days after lining up for the Melbourne Renegades in the semi-final for the Women’s Big Bash League, Duffin traded the cricket ball for a footy, joining her AFLW teammates at Arden Street.
A familiar face joined the girls for training too, with Ben Brown on hand to share some goal-kicking tips.
But if Saturday was anything to go by, the Roos already boast some sharp-shooters, booting nine goals and just two behinds in their win over Melbourne.
The coaches kept a keen eye on proceedings, with selection still very much in the balance after some impressive performances in Saturday’s opening hit-out.
Remarkably, just 11 days remain until North’s Round 1 clash against Carlton at North Hobart Oval.
The Roos will take part in an open training session this Saturday, with fans welcomed to watch the team train between 10am-11.30am.
