North Melbourne has launched its 2024 Good Friday SuperClash guernsey ahead of this Friday’s blockbuster game against Carlton at Marvel Stadium.

The guernsey combines the Kangaroos’ royal blue and white and iconic Bounding Roo design with the colours of the Good Friday Appeal: purple and green.

Kangaroos defender Bailey Scott recently visited the Royal Children’s Hospital, along with teammates Luke McDonald, Kallan Dawson and Zane Duursma, to meet with patients on the wards and give them a preview of the specially designed guernsey.

“We’re very proud to host the Good Friday SuperClash for the seventh time and grateful to have the opportunity to raise money and awareness for such an important cause,” Scott said.

“Good Friday is a special fixture not only for the club but also everyone involved in the Royal Children’s Hospital. It was great to share some time and laughter with the children and their families, along with the staff who do an extraordinary job - all of whom we will represent on Friday in the SuperClash.”

The match-worn SuperClash guernseys will be available via online auction post-game, with all proceeds going to the Good Friday Appeal.

Since the inaugural match in 2017, the Good Friday SuperClash has contributed almost $800,000 to the Good Friday Appeal to support ground-breaking research, state-of-the-art equipment and technology, family-centred care programs and the ongoing education and training for staff at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
