A key quartet of North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos have each extended their stay at Arden Street.
Spearhead Tahlia Randall and ruck Kim Rennie have signed two-year contract extensions to remain at the club until at least the end of 2026, while young guns Alice O’Loughlin and Taylah Gatt have signed on until at least the end of 2025.
Two-time leading goalkicker Randall has played the most games on the Kangaroos’ list, notching up 76, including 61 in the royal blue and white since joining ahead of the side’s inaugural season in 2019.
Rennie has played 59 games, including 35 as a Roo since crossing from the Western Bulldogs in 2022 ahead of AFLW Season 6.
O’Loughlin arrived at Arden Street via pick No.22 in the 2020 AFLW Draft and has since played 33 games.
Gatt was taken by the Kangaroos with pick No.28 in the 2022 AFLW Draft and has played all 26 games since.
"We are thrilled to retain the services of Tahlia, Kim, Alice and Taylah beyond the 2024 season," North Melbourne AFLW list manager Flynn Loft said.
"Kim and Tahlia have been reliable players for us over a number of seasons now. Kim’s ability to provide our midfielders with first use and to compete all over the ground is terrific, while Tahlia has been our leading goalkicker the past two seasons and become one of the prominent key forwards in the competition.
"Alice and Taylah made great strides in their development in 2023, with Alice recognised in the 22Under22 Team and Taylah named the club’s Best Young Player. We look forward to watching their continued growth over the next couple of years."
