The emergence of the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos as a leading light in the competition has been recognised, with four Roos earning selection in the Team Of The Week.
After topping the league with five selections for Round 3, North captain Emma Kearney has been joined by Jess Duffin, Emma King and Jamie Stanton after the quartet stood out at Casey Fields.
Duffin has earned selection more than any other player in 2019, named among the league’s best in every game.
The 29-year-old’s strong start to the season is reflected across the board, with Duffin also listed as North’s second highest player in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award voting.
Meanwhile, Kearney and King are hot on Duffin’s trail, rewarded for their recent performances with selection in the team of the week on three occasions.
After tallying an equal career-high 21 disposals on Sunday afternoon, Stanton earned a spot on the interchange.
