Midfielders Jasmine Garner and Ash Riddell have earned nine AFLCA AFLW Champion Player of the Year Award votes apiece following the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos' huge win over Yartapuulti.
Yet to miss out on votes in 2023, Garner was at her dazzling best against the Power at Arden Street Oval, notching 39 disposals, 10 score involvements, eight clearances and a goal.
Her 789 metres gained also set a new AFLW single-game record.
Judged equally impressive by North Melbourne coach Darren Crocker and Yartapuulti coach Lauren Arnell was Riddell, who booted two goals - including a ripper from the pocket - from 35 touches.
Garner and Riddell now sit with 60 votes and 44 respectively in the overall standings, with Garner 11 votes clear of second place with three rounds to play.
Alice O'Loughlin was a livewire inside 50 and received five votes after chalking up career-bests for disposals (17) and goals (three).
Jenna Bruton (26 disposals, one goal) was also awarded five votes for another impressive performance in midfield.
Strong outings from onballer Mia King (27 disposals, six score involvements) and defender Erika O'Shea (18 disposals, 11 intercepts) saw them collect a vote each.
