Jordan Russell and Jack Ziebell will depart North Melbourne after accepting coaching roles at other clubs.

He will return to Carlton, where he played 116 games from 2005 to 2012, as an assistant coach.

The former club captain from will swap Arden Street for Punt Road, joining Richmond’s AFL coaching program.

North Melbourne general manager of football Todd Viney thanked both men for their contribution to the club.

“Jordan has been an outstanding contributor to the AFL program as our midfield coach over the past three years and has built some great relationships here,” Viney said.

“Jack has also been a great asset to our AFLW program over the past few months with his wealth of playing and leadership experience, in addition to his long-standing connection to the club as a 280-game player and former captain.

“We wish both Jordan and Jack the best in their next chapter.”
