There is a new face of North Melbourne’s award winning not-for-profit arm, The Huddle.
Combining the defiant Kangaroos’ logo with a vibrant splash of the symbolic colour of harmony, orange, the new mark aims to reinforce a message of belonging for young people.
Launched at the recent Friends of The Huddle Thank-you night, the new logo reflects The Huddle’s core goals: learn, grow and belong.
North Melbourne updated its logo ahead of the 2017 season as the club embarked on a new era both on and off the field.
It seemed only fitting – following The Huddle’s incredible growth and expansion in the regions of North Melbourne, Wyndham and Tasmania – that it too adopted a the new look.
“After speaking with some of our incredible young people at The Huddle, it was clear we needed a logo that captured our past, present and future, as well as our overall identity,” GM Community Engagement Cameron McLeod said.
“Our vision is to inspire brighter futures and to create more socially inclusive communities and we wanted our logo to embody this and more.
“The street sign is a real feature of this emblem. When I look at it, I see the sense of place and belonging The Huddle has worked to create for young people in our community.”
The Huddle aims to strengthen and enhance young people’s skills, increase their ability to participate in society, whilst also addressing the causes of disengagement among young people.
It has engaged more than 60,000 young people through a range of initiatives in the areas of sport and recreation, education and careers, digital skills and civic participation.
