North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos onballer Ash Riddell has earned 10 AFL Coaches' Association AFLW Champion Player of the Year Award votes for the first time this season.
The No.7 was a force at the contest during her side's 30-point win over GWS on Sunday afternoon, winning 32 possessions and a game-high 12 clearances.
Riddell has now polled in every game except one (Round 3 v Geelong) and sits on 28 votes for the year.
Six votes went to Jasmine Garner, who retains her lead atop the leaderboard after notching 25 touches, 456 metres gained and a goal.
In her second game back since recovering from a calf strain, Jenna Bruton (26 disposals, eight tackles) received her first votes for 2023 (two), while captain Emma Kearney (20 disposals, seven intercepts) was also given two from North Melbourne coach Darren Crocker and GWS coach Cam Bernasconi.
Alyce Parker (eight votes) and Zarlie Goldsworthy (two) both polled for the Giants.
