Ailish Considine will make her North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos club debut against the Cats on Friday night, becoming Shinboner No.57.
Considine will replace key forward Kate Shierlaw, who is a late out due to hamstring tightness.
The winger-forward arrived at Arden Street in the off-season as a replacement player for fellow Irishwoman Vikki Wall.
Considine grew up playing Gaelic Football and camogie and represented County Clare at the highest level as a dual player.
In 2019, she joined the Adelaide Crows as their first international AFLW recruit.
There the 31-year-old played 26 games across five seasons and was part of the 2019 and 2022 (Season 6) premiership teams.
