Lindsay Thomas received five votes from Brenton Sanderson and Brad Scott to be the highest rated North Melbourne player against Adelaide.

Thomas kicked four goals in the first half and ended with five for the game, taking his season tally to 30. He is just one off the lead for the Coleman Medal and nine off a career high in a season. The number 12 should also reach 200 career goals during 2013 and is currently on 181.

Sam Gibson didn’t stop running all day, collecting 30 disposals, 10 marks and was rewarded with three votes. It’s the third game Gibson has polled in 2013, with two coming in the last three weeks.

Even with his unfortunate suspension stemming from the game, Jack Ziebell still polled three votes. The vice-captain led all players with 10 tackles, just one off a career high. It was a well rounded game as Ziebell also had 23 disposals and 7 clearances.

Ben Cunnington was the remaining Roo to pick up votes, gaining two for 19 disposals, 8 clearances, 6 tackles, 5 inside 50’s and 3 goals.

Andrew Swallow still leads all Kangaroos with 23 votes after nine rounds, two ahead of Ziebell on 21.
