Speedster Charlie Lazzaro has been locked in as North Melbourne's tactical substitute against Essendon.

Lazzaro, 21, played the same role last week against Melbourne when he replaced Robert Hansen jnr in the third quarter.

There are no late changes for the clash, which will be champion Kangaroo Ben Cunnington's final AFL game.

Cunnington returns to the line-up alongside young gun George Wardlaw, in what will be the only time they line up on the field together.

It will also be the final time former captain Jack Ziebell takes to Marvel Stadium, with his final game to take place next week against Richmond at the MCG.

Going out of the Roos side which lost to the Demons by 32 points will be Will Phillips and Hansen jnr.
