The coaches have named Ben Brown as the best North player in the victory against the Gold Coast, narrowly edging out Shaun Higgins.
Brown’s six goals – a career-high – included three in the all-important final quarter as North held off the Suns.
Higgins’ 28 disposal haul was a team-high and also the most he’s tallied in the first six weeks of the season.
A further three Kangaroos polled coaches’ votes, all for the first time in 2017.
Taylor Garner’s 23 touches and 11 marks saw him grab two votes, while Scott Thompson’s job on Tom Lynch also earned two.
Lynch managed 3 goals, but didn’t hit the scoreboard after the 10-minute mark of the second quarter.
Nathan Hrovat polled one vote in what Brad Scott described as ‘his best game for the club.’
