Speedster Charlie Lazzaro has been locked in as North Melbourne's tactical substitute against Melbourne.

Lazzaro was a late withdrawal against the Saints in Round 19 due to back tightness, but he showed his fitness last week with 23 disposals and six inside 50s in the VFL.

There are no late changes for the Kangaroos, who will line up as selected for the Blundstone Arena clash.

Retiring champ Jack Ziebell returns to the starting 22 for what will be his 278th game for the club.

Ziebell, who played as last weekend's substitute after announcing his retirement, has been named on the interchange bench.

Defender Lachie Young is the only omission from last weekend's match against West Coast.
