The North Melbourne Football Club welcomes today’s finding that Majak Daw is not guilty of three separate counts of rape during a house party in 2007, when he was just 16-years-old.
The verdict, handed down in the County Court, brings an end to a traumatic period for all involved.
North Melbourne has supported Majak from the outset and will continue to do so.
Out of respect to all parties, no further comment will be made.
The club asks the media to respect the privacy of Majak and his family.
