Moving from the midfield to a half back flank, Macmillan was able to play all 23 games in his third season.

He combined his consistency with extra flair which hadn't been on display previously, sneaking forward and kicking 11 goals for the season. Alongside Shaun Atley, he provided North with multiple options as a rebounding defender.

Heading into 2013, Macmillan seems to have cemented a spot in the side and could potentially move into the midfield adding another dimension to his game.
