North Melbourne has added six names to its extended squad ahead of Sunday afternoon's Kids Go Free clash with the Hawks, while three Roos are confirmed outs.
George Wardlaw (managed) and Liam Shiels (calf/plantaris) are in the frame for immediate returns after missing the Round 17 game against Geelong.
Versatile duo Curtis Taylor (25 disposals) and Dan Howe (23 disposals, eight clearances) have also been named following their strong performances in the VFL.
Taylor hasn't featured in the senior side since Round 9 against Port Adelaide, while Howe is aiming for his first appearance since kicking a goal and having 19 touches against the Pies in Round 11.
Josh Goater and Jackson Archer both impressed in their roles behind the ball at GMHBA Stadium in the reserves' 43-point win last Sunday and have been included in the squad, with the latter eyeing an AFL season debut.
As revealed earlier in the week, Griffin Logue will miss the rest of the campaign due to an ACL rupture, while Jy Simpkin is out for the short term after suffering a second concussion this season.
Young defender Flynn Perez has joined the duo on the injury list and won't be available for Round 18 due to a knee issue.
The final 22-player team will be confirmed on Friday at 5pm AEST.
