North Melbourne defender Aidan Corr has been locked in as the team's tactical substitute against the GWS Giants at Blundstone Arena on Sunday.

Corr has not featured for the AFL side since Round 9 against Port Adelaide where he was handed a one-match suspension for striking.

The 29-year-old had 17 disposals and took four marks in the VFL team's epic win over Essendon last weekend.

The Kangaroos will line up as selected, with forward Paul Curtis returning after kicking two goals and laying seven tackles in the reserves.

Young midfielder Tom Powell has also retained his spot in the side after he came on as the sub last week.

They replace co-captain Jy Simpkin and utility Hugh Greenwood, who have both been ruled out due to the AFL's 12-day concussion protocols.
