North Melbourne utility Darcy Tucker could be in line for a senior recall, but will need to prove his fitness in Thursday's main training session to put his hand up.

Tucker was ruled out of the Roos' Round 10 game against Sydney after he suffered a hamstring injury the week prior, but he could be back in time to replace Liam Shiels (concussion) for Sunday's clash with Collingwood.

Shiels will miss his first game since he debuted for the Kangaroos in the opening round against West Coast, having entered the AFL's mandatory 12-day concussion protocol. He will be the club's only forced change.

Veteran Ben Cunnington (32 disposals, 17 clearances, one goal) and young onballer Charlie Lazzaro (33 disposals, one goal) both put in standout shifts in the VFL against Casey and could find their way back into the side, while Curtis Taylor (24 disposals, six marks) presents as a suitable wing replacement.

Forward Cam Zurhaar is likely to regain his starting role, having been cleared to play this week following surgery on a cheekbone injury sustained in the Roos' Round 9 game against Port Adelaide.

He could potentially replace Blake Drury, who came out of the weekend's game with hip soreness.

Pick No.56 from the 2022 draft Cooper Harvey has booted nine goals in three weeks - including five last Saturday at Casey – and is closing in on an AFL debut.

Having served his one-match suspension for striking Port Adelaide's Ollie Lord in Hobart, Aidan Corr is now available for selection and could reclaim his position as the third tall defender.

Flynn Perez and Lachie Young have both progressed through concussion protocols and will stake their claims for senior spots through the week.

Perez was favoured for North Melbourne's Round 9 match, but a head knock saw him lose his spot for Round 10 against the Swans, while Young is yet to make his AFL season debut.
