North Melbourne has recalled five players to its 25-man squad for Sunday’s clash against Sydney.
With Corey Wagner out due to an ankle injury and Jarrad Waite suspended, the Roos have called upon their emerging youngsters to fill the void.
Taylor Garner is back after missing last week with hamstring tightness, while fellow forward Jy Simpkin could play his sixth game in North colours having been managed last week.
In defence, Aaron Mullett has made a quick turnaround from a bone fracture in his hand, with Sam Durdin also a chance to return following an impressive month with Werribee.
Declan Mountford’s best-on-ground performance at the Tigers has earned him a call-up, the number 42 hoping to take the field for his second match.
