A hamstring injury will keep star midfielder Luke Davies-Uniacke off the field for approximately the next month, while Jack Mahony's season has come to a premature end after damaging his shoulder in last Saturday's match.
Davies-Uniacke clutched at his left hamstring after accelerating out of a contest during the third quarter against Port Adelaide in Hobart.
"Luke's pretty sore just walking at the minute and is in low-level strength at this point," head of performance Kevin White told NMFC Media.
"We see a timeline of around 3-5 weeks (until a potential return).
"Jack is meeting with a surgeon today (Tuesday) to look at opinions on which surgery he'll get, and we'll have more information on his recovery process in the coming weeks."
A collision with Port's Jason Horne-Francis will see dynamic forward Cam Zurhaar (cheekbone) miss Saturday's Round 10 clash with the Swans.
Zurhaar has been a pivotal contributor for the Kangaroos so far this season off the back of his boost in midfield minutes.
"Cam had a bit of depression of one of the bones in his face and had a little surgical procedure (on Monday) just to pop that back up," White said.
"At the minute it'll be one week of non-contact for him and then he'll return to play."

"We're thinking one week, but he's presenting really well," White mentioned.
"He's a test, but a week off is likely for Darcy."
Young defender Flynn Perez is unavailable for selection after he suffered a delayed concussion at Blundstone Arena. He'll join Lachie Young in the AFL's 12-day concussion protocol after the backman also sustained a concussion, but during last Thursday's main training session.
"Flynn, just after half-time, reported some concussion symptoms, was taken down downstairs to go through the protocols and was effectively ruled out from there," White said.
Josh Goater had a player fall over his knee during the the first quarter of Saturday's reserve match-up against Frankston and is expected to miss the next 3-4 weeks.
"Scans revealed a moderate-grade MCL injury, but he's actually going really well at the moment," White said.
"He's in a knee brace this week and will come out of that next week."
