North Melbourne has launched the club’s 2023 Good Friday SuperClash guernsey ahead of this Friday’s blockbuster at Marvel Stadium.
The superhero-themed match-worn guernseys will be available via the club’s online auction post Friday’s match, with all proceeds going to the Good Friday Appeal.
Kiani Jarvis (pictured) visited the club’s Arden St headquarters on Tuesday morning with her parents Olivia – a former staff member at the Roos for 13 years – and Lee.
The Jarvis family’s life was thrown upside down in December 2022 when three-year-old Kiani was diagnosed with leukemia.
Kiani is four months into a two-and-a-half-year treatment plan at the Royal Children’s Hospital. With a long road ahead, Oivia and Leigh spoke to players and staff about their family’s experience and the importance of raising vital funds to help the hospital provide world-class care to children like Kiani.
"The Good Friday Appeal has taken on a different meaning for our family this year. We are so grateful for all the work the club does in fundraising for this amazing cause," Olivia said.
"The care and support we have received as a family over the past four months has been nothing short of incredible.
"The hospital is an amazing place. The nursing staff go above and beyond in their care for Kiani. They have made Kiani feel comfortable and safe, she looks forward to her visits and skips through the front doors of the hospital each time we arrive."
