After a promising start to its NAB Cup campaign, Sydney is geared up for its match against North Melbourne on Saturday night with some top line players ready to return.

Josh Kennedy, Shane Mumford and Ryan O'Keefe are all likely to take their spots on Bruce Purser Reserve, while young speedster Gary Rohan could also make an appearance.

"(Rohan) pulled up a little bit tight with a groin after our intra-club match (on February 17) and we didn't want to risk anyone," Sydney coach John Longmire told afl.com.au

"Ryan O'Keefe also had a tight groin, so we thought we'd give them a spell and they'll be able to play for the next three weeks hopefully.

"Josh Kennedy was about a week short in his preparation and will be fine this week. So Josh Kennedy, Mumford, Rohan, O'Keefe … we'd expect them all to play."

The return of several key players make the Swans a daunting prospect for Brad Scott’s team, though the loss of Adam Goodes to suspension could make things a little easier.

Aaron Black, Liam Anthony and Gavin Urquhart were all impressive in the VFL on Saturday and may get an opportunity to prove themselves if included in the squad.
