The AFL is pleased to announce the return of a price freeze on a number of fan-favourite foods at all Marvel Stadium games for the 2023 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
The price of Four’N Twenty Pies and hot chips will be locked at $4.50 each, 600ml soft drinks will stay at $5.50, burgers will remain at $12.50 while hotdogs will be locked at $6 as part of the AFL’s commitment to keeping football prices affordable and accessible for fans.
AFL Executive General Manager Customer and Commercial Kylie Rogers said it was a win for football fans of all ages.
“Increasing costs are a real challenge that is affecting everyone. We are so pleased to be able to offer fans a price freeze on the footy favourites – pies, hot chips, hotdogs, soft drinks and burgers at Marvel Stadium,” Ms Rogers said.
“We want to remove as many barriers as possible for fans and families. Fans are already able to bring in their own food and refill at water stations located around the venue, which helps keep the day more affordable.
“We are listening to fans. We understand the challenges every household is under and hopefully today’s announcement, paired with the recent price freeze on tickets to games, will help ease the pressure.
“We thank our catering partner Delaware North for joining us on this initiative. While the costs of goods have increased, we have worked together to absorb these costs on behalf of footy fans for our most popular items for the 2023 season,” Ms Rogers said.
