To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the AFL Players' Association is launching a Team of the Decade where all previously selected 22Under22 players will be voted on by the fans to create the ultimate team.
2023 also marks a decade since the first fan-voted 22Under22 team was announced at the 2013 MVP Awards.
Voting will open on February 20 and close at midnight on March 1, with the final team to be announced on March 9.
North Melbourne has four current squad members and a former player selected. Those being Luke McDonald, Jack Ziebell, Jaidyn Stephenson, Cam Zurhaar and Aaron Mullett.
Ziebell and Mullett both featured in the inaugural 22Under22 side in 2013, while club co-captain McDonald was voted in for 2014.
Damaging forward Zurhaar was named in 2019, and two years later, Stephenson marked his second appearance in the team and first as a Roo.
For the Team of the Decade, players have been placed in the position where they played the majority of their football during 2013β2022, according to Champion Data.
Former Kangaroos captain Ziebell is one of seven players out of the 142 that are classified as dual position (midfield/forward).
