North Melbourne's VFLW side has added several ex-AFLW players and retained some key names ahead of its third season.
Ex-North AFLW player Brittany Gibson will feature for another year and brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the team, while former AFLW teammate Elisha King will also return after recovering from an ACL injury.
Tasmanian inside midfielder Jen Guy will also return from an ACL injury. She missed most of the VFLW last season after going down in Round 3.
Essendon VFLW premiership player and exciting utility Marianna Anthony has come over to Arden Street where she originally took part in the club's AFLW 'train on' program.
Ex-Geelong AFLW player Madisen Maguire is another new signee and was also involved with the 'train on' program, while Jess Jones has returned after spending an AFLW season on Carlton's list.
The group of Emily Paterno, Annabel Scott, Jess Mourney, Reni Hicks and Brooke Slaney have been retained by the Kangaroos, and the full squad is set to be joined by various players from the Tasmania Devils and Western Jets throughout the year.
In the coaching department, senior coach Steph Binder has been locked in for another season, as has the rest of her crew in Nick Devereux (assistant coach – midfielders), Lachlan Walker (assistant coach – forwards) and Meg Lawrence (assistant coach – defenders).
North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos defender Sarah Wright will be joining them as a development coach, with her experience at the highest level expected to do wonders for those in the VFLW program.
