North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos Season 7 Best and Fairest winner Jas Garner says the support and encouragement she receives from her loved ones has helped her get to the next level.

Polling 208 votes on Thursday night, the superstar midfielder claimed a third club champion award after another impressive individual campaign that also included winning the AFLCA AFLW Champion Player of the Year Award and captaincy of the All-Australian side.

Garner's partner Jenna Bruton, who took home the Shinboner of the Year Award and third place in the best and fairest count after a superb season of her own, is someone the No.25 expressed the highest adoration for.

"She really has (helped me this year)", Garner mentioned.

"We help each other and, you know, some days you just can't be bothered but she pushes me to do better and motivates me to do better.

"She never complains and just wants the best for herself, and for me and the team, so she really helps me."

An ever-present, passionate member of the Kangaroos, Garner's brother Kane is also an important part of the midfielder's life and she appreciated just how significant it is to have him right by her side as well.

"It is pretty special," she said.

"He's loving it and I think he got about three shoutouts (on Thursday night), so he's feeling on top of the world.

"I love that I get to share this journey with him ... and he's looking forward to next year."

After finishing eighth on the ladder and valiantly progressing through both the elimination and semi-finals, the Kangaroos’ season ended after a hard-fought preliminary final contest with the Demons saw them fall short by 17 points.

Although it was an unfavourable result on that day at Ikon Park, it hasn't dampened Garner's overall perspective on Season 7 and the near future.

"I really love playing with North Melbourne and all the girls," she said.

"I think we had eight debutants this year and quite a young list and they just brought energy, and us older girls really loved it and it was just such a fun season and (we) really can't wait for next year."
