After another impressive team performance saw the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos trounce the Tigers by 36 points last weekend, senior coach Darren Crocker and the match committee may be loath to make a change ahead of Saturday's preliminary final against Melbourne.

Through methodical and efficient ball movement by the defenders and midfielders, North's forward line was able to blitz Richmond's defence from the outset which resulted in the side recording its highest Season 7 score so far (74).

The electric attacking display came just a week on from when the Roos struggled to generate scores against the Cats, and at Punt Road Oval, nearly every forward hit the scoreboard.

This will make it even tougher for small forwards Zoe Savarirayan and Charli Granville, and key position player Sophia McCarthy, to make their returns to the forward unit.

Pacey Savarirayan last featured in the royal blue and white in Round 9 before dedicating her time to year 12 exams over Round 10 and the first week of finals, while pressure forward Granville also hasn't played since Round 9 when she booted two goals in a stirring display.

McCarthy has managed four games for the club in her debut season but due to the prolific production of Tahlia Randall, Emma King and Sophie Abbatangelo throughout Season 7, it's made it difficult for the 20-year-old to lock down a regular role.

Defender Hannah Bowey, who made her debut just three weeks ago, has seemingly settled into her defensive position and is moving from strength to strength under the guidance of Emma Kearney in the backline.

Irishwoman Erika O'Shea will face another test ahead of preliminary final team selection.

The speedy defender left the Round 10 bout against the Tigers prematurely after suffering a blow to her eye and hasn't taken the field since.

North Melbourne will face off with Melbourne at 3.10pm AEDT at Ikon Park on Saturday, November 19.
