With a finals berth now locked in, the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos will look to clinch a double chance when they challenge Richmond on Sunday afternoon.

The Kangaroos ran out convincing 32-point winners over rivals Collingwood in Round 9 and find themselves in sixth position on the ladder heading into the season's last home and away round.

Another week, another fellow top-eight side awaits that the Kangaroos will set out to conquer.

North Melbourne has had its fair share of premiership-contending opponents in Season 7, and on Sunday it will add another club to the list when it hosts a rampant Richmond outfit that has won seven on the trot.

Darren Crocker's side will head into Round 10 full of confidence though, after decisively defeating top-four aspirant Collingwood.

The second quarter performance in particular at Victoria Park was "the best footy" coach Crocker had seen since he's been involved with the program, as the Roos established themselves with five unanswered goals during the period.

While the forward line was clicking impeccably, the defensive pressure and tackling on display stood out just as much. North Melbourne laid a season-high 82 tackles against the Pies and constantly thwarted Collingwood's post-clearance possession.

Up in north-east Victoria, Monique Conti led Richmond to a 43-point victory over the Giants in wet and windy conditions to send the yellow and black into fourth spot.

It will be all to play for come Sunday when fans not only get to see a battle between two in-form sides, but the clash between two of League's best individual players - Jasmine Garner and Conti.
