Levi late to the party
A late inclusion, Levi Greenwood quickly set about producing his finest performance of the season.
With 23 first half possessions, the midfielder was the dominant player on the field at the main change, and he didn’t lose an inch of pace thereafter.
Greenwood ended the match with 38 disposals, and did plenty to suggest he’ll get another opportunity in Round 22, especially given the coaches handed him nine votes.
He may have been handed a perfect 10 if not for the stellar performance of Daniel Wells who had 17 disposals to go with his 4 goals.
Wells has been in a rich vein of form in recent weeks, polling in the last four matches to take the outright lead among North players in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year.
Drew Petrie moved to equal-second place alongside Brent Harvey after registering six votes.
With 20 disposals, 10 marks and 3 goals, the acting captain was the dominant big man on the ground.
Meanwhile, Sam Wright tallied his first votes (two) of the year for a season-high 25 disposals, and Lachie Hansen and Ben Cunnington polled one each.
