After a 12-point win over Geelong last Friday night at UTAS Stadium, Jenna Bruton and four other Kangaroos have polled votes in the AFL Coaches Association AFLW Champion Player Award.
Bruton was rewarded with seven votes from North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos coach Darren Crocker and Geelong counterpart Daniel Lowther after gathering 24 disposals, five marks and five tackles in the club's second win for the season.
Polling for the first time this season, Bruton was impactful from start to finish in Tasmania's greasy, winter-like conditions.
Jasmine Garner, who tallied 26 votes from the first three rounds, was everywhere early and received four votes, while fellow midfielder Ash Riddell led the side in disposals with 26 and added two votes to her season total.
Forward Vikki Wall and skipper Emma Kearney earned one vote each, with the former polling for the first time in her career after slotting two goals in the crucial clash.
Geelong's Georgie Prespakis was allocated the maximum 10 votes while her teammate Amy McDonald came away with five.
