North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos forward Alice O'Loughlin has been nominated for the AFLW Goal of the Year following the Round 3 clash with Adelaide on Saturday.

In her first game of the season, the 20-year-old gathered the ball from off the deck, span around an Adelaide defender and slotted a right foot snap under pressure to score North's opening goal.

The GOTY contender was soon followed by a Vikki Wall debut goal which put the team in the box seat, before the Crows began to gradually take control of the contest after quarter time.
