North Melbourne has secured the future of young gun Curtis Taylor, with the 22-year-old recommitting to the club.
Taylor’s new deal will see him stay in the royal blue and white until at least the end of the 2024 season.
Taylor joined the club with pick 46 in the 2018 draft and was nominated for the NAB AFL Rising Star in Round 5, 2020.
Coming off a career-best season for disposals, goals and tackles, Taylor played his 50th game against Sydney in Round 21 this year.
North Melbourne list and recruiting manager Brady Rawlings said the club is thrilled to have Taylor sign on.
“Curtis has found his place and really settled into his role on the wing this year. For the first time in his short career, he played every game across the home and away season, giving him the ability to find real consistency with his football,” Rawlings said.
“Curtis has proved himself to be a team player, he brings excitement and energy to our group and has shown he is invested in North Melbourne, we look forward to him being part of our future.”
