North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos superstars Emma Kearney and Jasmine Garner will raise the bat this weekend as they mark their AFLW half-centuries against the Gold Coast Suns.
Joining the club in 2019, Kearney played 15 games, including a Grand Final victory, for the Western Bulldogs across 2017 and 2018 before moving to North Melbourne as a league best and fairest winner.
The skipper is the only player in the AFLW to be named in the All-Australian team for all six seasons and was rewarded with the captaincy of the Season 6 squad after a terrific campaign in defence.
Like Kearney, Garner has also been a competition standout since she stamped her name in the history books by booting the first ever AFLW major back in 2017 for Collingwood.
The talented midfielder/forward arrived at Arden Street alongside Kearney after 14 games with the Pies and has lit it up ever since.
A four-time All-Australian, two-time North Melbourne best and fairest, two-time North Melbourne leading goalkicker and 2020's AFLPA MVP and AFLCA Champion Player, Garner continues to grow as one of the league's most influential and skilled players.
The dominant duo will join Tahlia Randall as the second and third Kangaroos to play their 50th AFLW game.
