While progress on the multi-million dollar facility at Arden Street is there for all to see, work behind the scenes is moving at a dramatic rate. The club is now searching for a full time teacher / project co-ordinator to drive the Learning and Life Centre's educational programs.

The successful applicant will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with over 100 schools in Melbourne's North West and developing curriculum-based programs for the thousands of students who will visit the club from February 2010.

James Demetriou, the Learning and Life Centre's Executive Director, said the teacher would be critical to the program's success.

"We are working to create a world-first in education and community engagement by an elite sporting organisation," he said.

"We are looking for someone to grow these programs from the ground up and create a model that is considered best-practice. It is a unique role in a unique organisation at a very exciting time and we are expecting a very high calibre of applicant."
