North Melbourne midfielder Ben Cunnington will be available for his side’s clash with Brisbane this weekend, after receiving a fine for striking Fremantle’s Nathan Wilson late in Sunday’s loss to Fremantle.
The MRO determined that Cunnington’s hit was intentional and to the body, but it was deemed to be low impact.
The 27-year-old has been offered a $3,000 fine, but can accept a $2,000 sanction with an early plea.
Defender Robbie Tarrant will also be free to play, after he was let off with a warning for striking Fremantle captain Nat Fyfe midway through the third quarter.
