The North Melbourne Kangaroos have made five changes to the side to take on the Crows, with the inclusions headlined by the return of electric midfielder Tarryn Thomas.

Thomas was dropped to the VFL for the Round 13 clash with GWS, and after impressing with 21 disposals and four clearances has earned an immediate recall to the senior side.

Defenders Ben McKay and Aiden Bonar return to the backline alongside confirmed debutant Jackson Archer after shaking off their respective injuries.

McKay has cleared the AFL's concussion protocols after being substituted out of the Round 12 clash with Gold Coast, while Bonar has been sidelined for six weeks with a hamstring issue.

Cam Zurhaar rounds out the list of big name inclusions, with the forward being declared fit after missing two games due to a stress reaction in his foot.

He was in strong form before suffering the injury, having kicked 14 goals in his previous six games and will be hoping to regain that momentum.

Jason Horne-Francis and Lachie Young miss the clash through suspension, while facial fractures sees Jack Ziebell exit the side. 

Kyron Hayden and Flynn Perez have been omitted, being named emergencies alongside Callum Coleman-Jones and Charlie Lazzaro.

One of those four will be named the medical substitute an hour before the bounce on Sunday.
