Jason Horne-Francis is an indisputable talent. After being taken with the number one draft pick and earning a NAB AFL Rising Star nomination earlier this season, the young gun can now a rebel Goal of the Year nomination to his rapidly growing list of accolades.

Whether it be in the midfield or the forward line, Horne-Francis' intuitive mind is one of his most brilliant assets and it was on full show against the Suns on the weekend.

After Todd Goldstein sold a dream to Gold Coast's Noah Anderson, Horne-Francis decided to go one better than his veteran teammate and pull the wool over two opposition players.

Initially fumbling the ball, Horne-Francis gathered in time to dance around the closing Oleg Markov with a spectacular spin before putting the brakes on to duke past gun defender Charlie Ballard.

The icing on the cake was the classy snap to finish.

A wonderful, instinctive goal from a rising young star of the competition.

Horne-Francis' goal has been nominated alongside Adelaide's Darcy Fogarty and Gold Coast's Isaac Rankine this week.
