North Melbourne has made one change ahead of the Good Friday SuperClash against the Western Bulldogs.

Eddie Ford has been named for his second game of the season, having missed the last match under AFL health and safety protocols.

An 189cm forward with the speed and stamina to link up the lines, Ford has featured in six matches at senior level so far.

The 19-year-old has been named to replace Cam Zurhaar (concussion), who went into the 12-day protocols after he was substituted out of the game against Sydney.

‘Bull’ will be missed, having been the Kangaroos’ leading goalkicker in 2020 before he chipped in another 31 in 2021.

Having been activated as the medical substitute in three consecutive matches, defender Aiden Bonar has been omitted.

The substitute will instead be selected from emergencies Callum Coleman-Jones, Tom Powell, Miller Bergman and Will Phillips.

If it is to be Bergman, it will be the young defender’s first senior appearance for North Melbourne, after he was snapped up with Pick No.38 in the 2021 AFL Draft.

Powell could make his way back after a minor calf complaint ruled him out of Round 4, while Phillips will continue to build his fitness base after a bout of glandular fever.
