Jamie Macmillan and Jared Polec are set to feature in Friday night’s AFLX tournament at Marvel Stadium, after late call-ups.

Macmillan has joined Patrick Dangerfield’s ‘Bolts’ side in place of teammate Robbie Tarrant, sidelined with a shoulder injury, while Polec will play for Jack Riewoldt’s ‘Rampage’, alongside Shaun Higgins.

While it will be Polec’s first time playing AFLX, it will be Macmillan’s second, having represented North in last year’s inaugural tournament.

“It’ll be something different,” Macmillan told North Media.

“I had a little taste of it last year and I really enjoyed the concept, so I’m looking forward to playing this Friday night.”

Each side will play three matches before the top two sides face-off in a final.
