Ash Riddell led the way for the Kangaroos with her performance in Saturday's loss to Melbourne. Her 30 disposals on the night saw her break the AFLW record for most possessions in a season - even with two games to go in this home and away campaign.

A near perfect game was not enough for Riddell to maintain her place at the top of the votes table for AFLCA Champion Player of the Year however, with the Kangaroos’ on-baller slipping one spot and one vote behind new leader, Brisbane’s Emily Bates.

Along with her game-high number of disposals, she also registered 7 tackles.

Jasmine Garner was the other North player to poll in the loss, once again hitting the scoreboard from the midfield.

Garner, who kicked the Kangaroos’ first goal of the day also registered 19 disposals, 7 tackles and 5 clearances.
