Young gun Bella Eddy has been named the AFLW’s round 7 NAB Rising Star nominee after an outstanding performance in Sunday’s win over Collingwood.
Eddey recorded 16 disposals, 9 kicks, 7 handballs, 4 marks, 3 clearances in the Roos' victory in Hobart.
In her second AFLW season, 20-year-old Eddey has averaged 11.4 disposals per game and become a key cog in the Roos midfield.
Eddey’s other outstanding performance of the season came in round 2 against the Crows where she recorded 16-disposals, 8 kicks, 8 handballs and 9 marks.
Eddey was originally selected at pick 13 in the 2020 NAB AFLW draft.
