Round 2: Debut, 19 possessions in 129-point win over GWS Giants

kangaroos.com.au says

In his second season, the younger Delaney made his debut in Round 2 against the GWS Giants. With 19 disposals and 5 marks, he was impressive and showcased impressive mobility and agility for his size.

Coming back into the side for the Round 7 game against the Bulldogs, Delaney was able to hold his spot for the next month but lost his position after the Hawthorn defeat in Launceston.

Despite not playing another senior game, Delaney put his AFL experience to good use for North Ballarat, often taking the opposition's best key forward and turning in a string of good performances. He was also signed to a new three year deal.

Quotes
